5 Simple Tips to Save More This Year
Are you hoping that this year will be your year of saving?
But you’re stuck wondering just how you can do that when everything seems to go in one hand and out of the other?
Well, I have come up with some ideas to hopefully make saving a little bit easier for you this year.
Save The Change.
These days it is simple to save the change, you don’t have to think about emptying your pockets at the end of the day (though of course, you could).
You can simply let your bank round up payments, often they will do this to any account of your choosing.
Or you could sign up to apps such as Cleo or Plum who will take small payments, often and pop it into savings for you.
You may just be surprised by how much you save!
Find Your Hustle.
Everyone can start a hustle.
From opening your own blog, starting out doing surveys, to selling your handicrafts.
What’s more, there is now a hobby allowance of £1000 each year, so you may not even have to report to HMRC. Though be careful to check the rules to find out if you are eligible!

Claim your Cashback.
You might be surprised by how quickly cashback can add up.
Over the years I have made over £600 from Quidco alone, by just making purchases I would anyway! The toolbar for TopCashBack is must to help remind you to claim.
Quidco is also another company who you find you quickly rack up the pennies with.
If you have the time as well, always make sure to cross check who gives you the best payout!
Drop a Coffee.
Of course, I don’t mean dropping your coffee on the floor.
I mean stop buying one. Just one a week.
On average a coffee costs £2 or more to buy at a coffee shop, if you are buying 1 less a week, you would be saving yourself over £100 a year!
Pop that in your savings.
Sell Your Unwanted Things.
We all have items in the home which we could do without.
So why not have a sort out, collect them up and sell.
You may be surprised just the amount they bring in and you can pop it right into your savings.
So there are some tips on ways to up your savings account this year.
However, what about you do you have any tips on boosting your savings account this year?
